Great news, What a relief

Comment Published at 07:0507:059 comments9 comments35 Visits35 VisitsReport
Well I had a huge scare on Tuesday night, I began to bleed like the beginning of a period and bright pink which isn't good.  Brett was on his last night shift and couldn't get home as he'd caught the bus out and had no vehicle and I was alone with Ailish.  I had an offer from my friend (Brett's ex-cousin) Deanne Robertson to drop Aiish off at her place and go to the Emergency Room, but Ailish was having an unsettled night at home so there was no way she would have settled anywhere else and Dee was alone there with her baby and no car so then she suggested that I ring the E.R. Instead and ask their advice as to what would be best to do, so I did that and they said it sounded like a miscarriage and they were sorry but at 14 weeks there was nothing they could do to stop it.    She advised I try and relax and take panamax (like I have any at home) if the cramps get to bad, and contact a friend if I can.  As you can imagine I didn't get much sleep that night, the cramps never got past mild and annoying and the bleeding never got any stronger, I rang the next day around lunch to tell them that nothing had gotten worse and could it be something else seeings I would have thought I'd be in pain by now etc and they said, no still nothing they could do, pretty much same advice as before except that if I could get a recommendation from my GP to have an ultra sound, which you would think would be easy enough to do but the surgery's phone lines were down un be known to me and all day all I got was an engaged signal.  That night Deanne told me that her friend that works at the hospital tiold her that there phones had been down all week.... Good to know.  All my instincts told me to do was to lay down and not lift anything heavey... Thank God Brett came home from night shift and Ailish was an Angel.   So then yesterday morning, I passed a large clot and then the colour changed to brown which is a good thing as that's old blood and not fresh so I was thinking maybe everything was going to be okay after all.  In Kal when I had some spotting at 6 weeks with Ailish we went to Emergency and they gave me an ultra sound straight away and it turned out to be an implantation bleed which sometimes happens and which happened again at 6 weeks to me so I wasn't worried then when that happened but at 14 weeks, you don't expect this.  So I go to the Emergency Room and wait and wait and then a nice Midwife comes and explains that at 14 weeks a fetal heart monitor which is what I requested would not give a significant result either way as it still might be too small to register a heart beat even if it had one and not finding one would just distress me more, so I had to go and beg an appointment at my Dr's surgery and ask for a referral for an ultra sound.  Well the up side of all this by this time is that the original Dr I saw who said he didn't want to see me for another 10 weeks from my first and only visit with him at 6 weeks (my next and 2nd visit with him is still not until the 28th of July) wasn't on but his partner a Dr Michael Meers was and he squeezed me in with only a 40 minute wait from the moment I walked in and he was so lovely and human when the other guy was almost robotic and way to clinical, so I was able to switch Dr's which I am very happy about, but getting back to the issue at hand.  He was very understanding, felt around my belly a bit, thought he felt a little bulge which he thought was a good sign, and when I mentioned that almost at the same time I started to bleed I started to pee twice as much as I had done he thought perhaps this had all been brought on by a kidney or urinary tract infection so I was sent not only to see if I could get an ultra sound (I had to wait 3 weeks for the last one)I also had deposit a urine sample at the pathology lab opposite.    So back I went to the hospital (lucky it's a small town) and tried to get an ultra sound appt then but the one and only ultra sound man was off that arvo and couldn't squeeze me in so I had it squeezed in at 10 am this morning.  And I am soooo happy to say that I saw our baby moving and his heart beat he has fluid in his stomach and bladder which means everything is working as it should be, he has a healthy sized placenta and umbilical cord, his size is perfect for his age and he wasn't in any distress what so ever.  I cried with relief as I'm sure you will be able to understand.  I could have kissed the ultra sound guy but he didn't seem to invite that kind of thing, so I patted his arm and thanked him a lot.   When I told Mum on Wednesday morning she was grey nomad-ding her way from the Northern territory and was in Central Qld she turned straight around and headed back towards us, she's about to come down the centre back to the Eyre hwy and as she says all she has to do is turn left at the end of the Nullabour to get to Esperance.  I have the best Mum in the entire world.  I dearly hope that Ailish and this new baby will one day think the same of me, but I have big shoes to fill to be as great as my Mum.  So now that I know the baby is okay, and the bleeding is now just very brown dregs, nearly stopped,  I don't know when I might get the results of the urine test but I don't know how the surgery will get the results or let me know without a phone, maybe they've had them fixed I didn't bother to try and ring them today.  I'll find out when we get back from Perth.   We are going as planned to Perth on Monday, we're staying at the Brett's sister Michelle's on Monday til Friday I think and then going to Brett's Mum's, and Brett has to have a suit fitting on the Friday arvo for a wedding he's in the party of in October and a bucks night he planes to not come home till the next day from, on the Saturday night.  (It's a good life for some when they can pretend they're still in their 20's and single isn't it)   Mum will probably reach here whilst we're in Perth but I told her if all was well we were planning on going to Perth before she decided to about face and she said that she'd be happy if all was so well that we could do that.  We'll have friends with keys to our house she can leave her van at there place which has the room (we don't) and she can stay in comfort in the house by herself which she'll probably enjoy for a bit of a change.  The funny thing is that she was running away from the cold and we are just getting hit by a bit of  left over cyclone so Brett says, the rain and the wind certainly agree with that, I think he heard it one the news, I missed it, Albany has apparently been hit so hard they have no power etc.  We have a gas heater  and just bought a new bottle today just incase the other bottle is getting low (I wish you could tell) so Mum should have no excuse but to be as snug as a bug.       Love   Chele, Brett and Ailish and I think we'll call him "Lucky"

Celtic/Gaelic name suggestions please

Comment Published at 02:5702:5710 comments10 comments75 Visits75 VisitsReport

Hi yawl, we are having a lot of trouble agreeing on either sex baby names and want to keep with the gaelic theme we started with Ailish-Jayde (not the jayde bit LOL).

So far I like Rory, Brydie, Cormac, Rivven (correct spelling is Ruthvan) (and thats 2 Vs not a w), Caelan, Bryce and Siobhan (pronounced Chevorn), but Brett (Hubby) doesn't even contemplate, just says NOPE.

SO the more suggestions the merrier.

Thanks Guys, oh our last name is Lunam (pronounced Loonam) and it's Welsh (we've been told)

Ít's been a while since I up dated my blog so I thought I'd giv it a burl.... Actually though I did just this last week and for some reason it didn't stick, so lets "Take Two"and try again.  Ailish is talking non stop and repeating things a lot and some times it's very cute but 80% of the time it does my head in LOL.... she doesn't even stop long enough to listen for an answer, definately gets that from her Dad.   I'll just pop some pics in to show you all whats happening.... umm Brett went halves with a work mate and bought a 2nd hand boat to go fishing with so we've been eating a heap of fish & squid lately, yummmm.  I killed a juvinile Jugite (snake) yesterday that was under our BBQ when I had Ailish and 2 dogs in the back yard... my first instinct was to run and get everyone inside but then I thought it could go anywhere and I'd be paranoid forever after where it might be so I grabbed to shovel and turned it into chop suey...............  let that be a lesson to any other poisoness creatures to stay out of MY yard LOL.  Actually my dog found it and it was inside a material shopping bag that brett had left outside and had blown under the BBQ, I up turned the bag thinking there was a frog in it that the dog was after so that she'd see it, it's hop away and that'd be that, so I got the shock of my life when a snake fell out  Aaaaarrgghhh!  It's been years since I killed a snake and this one wasn't all that big, but still my knee's were a knocking for a while afterwards.  we went to a friends wedding yesterday, it's been glorious weather here for weeks UNYIL YESTERDAY.  yesterday it poured with rain and was (as is today) quite cold.  Still they had their outside ceremony in nearly all a non-rain period (spat during vows) whic was very lucky and they managed to get some great photo's out and about as well, so all's well that ends well.  I had to stay sober to take Ailish home at 6.30pm to leave with our friend Erin who baby sat for us, but managed to ahave a few drinks though not really drunk, Brett on the other hand has vowed to never drink again.... if only it was true LOL.      Brett's Mum & Step dad came to us for the easter weekend and a lovely time was had by all.  It was their first ever visit to Esperanc eand I think they'll be back they had such a nice and relaxing time of it and of course Ailish was a big hit with them and she fell in LOVE with her Nono (Brett's step Dad) & followed him around like a puppy only to be spoiled rotten.... no wonder she's still asking "Where Nono, where he go?" even this morning.   The boys boat Keel Screamer (with 1/2 owner Shaun on board) I gave myself another hair cut, the shortest yet.  Now it's blonder as well..... change is as good as etc...... Ailish sending daddy off to work for another 7 day stint (last block)

Part 2 of our trip

Comment Published at 17:3017:303 comments3 comments52 Visits52 VisitsReport
Finally I have a minute to get back and tell you rest of our travelling tale.  Being on the farm again was like visiting heaven and I caught up with some friends and some very special people like Aiish's "Uncle father Coin" he's the catholic priest who did Dads funeral a couple of years ago and when told that I was sick of being pregnant said he would "Pray for a Christmas baby for her"and it happened, so even though I'm Wiccan & Brett's an Athiest, Aiish has had a private blessing from her "Uncle father Colin"and they are very special to each other and he's a beautiful human being.... if only everyone in organised relligion was like him the world would indeed be like heaven on earth.  So anyway we visited him and an old school girlfriend of mine, but we were late from F. Colin so we could only see her for half an hour as she was on her lunch break, that was a great shame, we had coffee with another 3 friends one of which has had a baby 6 months ago and it was the first time I'd seen her, she's a beautiful babe, and we very briefly visited a dear friend who has her own florist shop but Ailish was getting very tired by this point so we had to cut it short and got back to the farm (a 15 minute drive from mansfield).  Unfortunately it rained a lot so we had to put the camper van into the shed so I could pack it etc for the trip home as we would of course sleep in it on the return trip.  In the end it was a very rushed trip because a melbourne friend invited us to a pre-Christmas family dinner at her house and her 2nd sons 1st birthday Party so we towed to van down there and stayed in the worlds noisiest caravan park (has 2 busy roads on 2 sides of it) around the corner from her house and had a lovely time there with them and at the party.  Then Aiish and I said goodbye to Mum who came down in her own car and went across Melbourne to my sisters to see her and pick up the camping stuff we'd left there.  On packing the camping gear vis shoving it through the door of the only wound up not set up van I stupidly left the winding crank handle in place and drove of with it still there and as a result when we reached Bordertown melbourne side of Adelaide and decided we'd had enough driving for one day I realised I had no way to wind the van up........................OOPS!!!  Luckily some lovely people parked right next to us and also had a wind up camper van though this years model and leant us their winder and that night I nutted out a way to do it by morning, I stuffed a large spanner in the windy bit and used a smaller spanner to wind it.... worked fine, but I found a lovely bloke in Murrey Bridge who made me a new one... I now call it the "Ällen Key " & make sure it's packed prior to leaving LOL.   More another day

Long time no Minti

Comment Published at 02:1902:198 comments8 comments74 Visits74 VisitsReport

HELLLOOOOOOOOOoooo, friends, feels like forever since I've poked my head in here, and once again it will be but a short visit before another 3 weeks or so of complete abandonment.  I'm no longer pissed off Minti wise so if you can stand my loud & proud opinions I will once again smother you all in them..... next year.  Brett & I bought an old camper van on e-bay, it was in NSW so Mum (in Victoria) went and picked it up for us and took it back (eventually, 2 cactus tyres later... it wasn't in as good a knock as they would have had us believe, so they got a negative feed back... enter vindicated evil laugh here), Anywhooo, Ailish and I drove over to Victoria to pick it up & drive it back again and were away for 3 weeks in all, it took 4 days to get from Esperance to Melbourne & was I a bit weary & bleary on the evening of day 4... that day was Adelaide to Melbourne and it took 10 hours.  We had Mum post over her portable DVD player for Ailish and we "Wiggled"and "Hi-5'd"it across the country, she's a briliant travellor, never complained the whole time as long as I kept the supply of sultanas & bickies and milk (I caved and gave her milk on request instead of only at sleep times...... but she's back to normal now so no harm done), just a terrific kid even if i do say so my self.  On the way over we slept in the car.  This wasn't our first car sleeping experience, as we did it following Mum, ex-sis in-law & neice & nephew around the south west coast in September, however I realised that on that occassion I was able to put our luggage under or in the caravan they were staying in so we could sleep in the mattresses underneith all the STUFF..... this time, no acompanying van to stoe the stuff.  soooooo, I made a car tent..........................

This was our first night camping in a caravan park (well... thats what they call it, it's EXTREMELY basic) at madura Pass on the Nullabor Plain.  All our luggage got stowed in the tent part.  You can't see it but there is a velco door at the very back which was a vast improvement on how I got in and out when we went with Mum, I ripped 2 pairs of PJ pants commando crawling under a curtain from the drivers door into the back... this way I just had to bob down.  The top is a tent fly and the floor is a plastic backed picnic blanket, the walls are rubber backed curtains from an Op-Shop of course, AND I got them during a $5- bag sale so I got enough to make it and got some for the car windows and one to stretch from back seat door to back seat door..... worked very very very well.  Reading in bed was the only hassel as I forgot to pack my head lamp and only had a wind up torch (you know the no batteries neccessary ones... great fro finding stuff inthe dark, not for an hours reading).

Then we got tomums after 5 days in melbourne visiting sister and friends and Aunts and Uncles and grandma all of whom live of course no where near each other (except forFave  Uncle and  Aunt & only Grandma, they live around the corner from each other)..  Anyway after picking up the nephew and neice from their Mums who was celebrating her 30th Birthday that weekend and was very greatful to be able to do so kid free, we trundled the 3 hour drive to the farm in Merrijig.  Oh the the beauty of the place, I am yet to ever be even remotely dissapointed by those mountains and the vew of the valley as you crest Corn Hill, (Jess will know what I mean).  trust me, it is beauty personified and I made the kids be very quiet whilst I exhaled and breathed in HOME!!  My hubby who has no home roots due to growing up in Mining towns that have all long since been flattened and turned back to nature, doesn't understand that it will always be my home no matter where I live and whom I live with.......  But anyone who has lived ther knows what I mean.  Anyway by the time we arrived it was dark and the kids were ratty and over tired and excited but Mum had worked her incredible magic and replaced freddy Krueger slashed fly screens (previously un-disclosed) fixed the door that we thought was the wrong one entirely (the sellers didn't even know how to use it), she's repaired broken bed runners and fixed the bed propping poles so they actually worked propperly, AND she had taken it in to have the wheel bearings replaced and the wiring fixed, then when we discovered my cars plug didn't fit the trailers new one, SHE replaced my cars one herself.... she's a Super Mum  of the highest quality my Mum.  More later, Ailish is wanting cuddles whilst awaiting daddy's arrival home and her first sighting of him in 3 weeks.  Chow fa now.

Our trip

Comment Published at 17:1817:186 comments6 comments78 Visits78 VisitsReport
Phew what a month or rather 6 weeks I have had & it's still going with a friend from Kal & her 2 kids arriving today for the weekend.  ..................... Suddenly I have a life ha ha ha.   It was great to see SIL Cat & the kids (Daniel 10 & Jessica 6 nephew & neice) and especially Mum of course.  The kids fought and fought and drove Mum and I absolutely mental actually, Cat (Catherine) just gives in rather than making them behave.  Mum swears they don't fight like that when she has them at the farm without a parent in sight & I believe her, they were sooo bad that I was a bit relieved to see them go, which is an absolutely terrible thing to say and to feel but they were really that bad they made the whole holiday experience a head ache and a chore.    We did walk through a cave in the Margaret River region that was chocka block full of stalagmites and tites which was quite spectacular however I had Ailish in the back pack and the way in was flat and fine, and then there was the occasional short but narrow stair case to different viewing platforms that was slightly challenging due to me having to have a toddlers foot in each hand lifting them up rather than holding the rails as we wouldn't have fit otherwise, but when we walked through to the other side with me being guided waddling in a crouched position through several sections so that our daughters head remained the perfect un scarred vision of loveliness that it is, through some incredibly low parts, then we saw it....................200 steps very steep and seemingly endless.  By the time we all made it to the top I thought the only fair thing thing would have been to have become instantly a size 8, that may have made it all worth while..... Because when we finally made it to the top of the magic pudding of staircases (they never ended) we had to cross a road & trek through the bush to get back to the entrance and our cars.  It may have been a lovely walk through the bush, I don't remember, the sweat streaming from my forehead was distorting my vision and my heavy breathing may have fogged up my sun glasses, not to mention the possibility of temporary brain failure due to a traumatic experience of enforced chronic & excessive exercise.  So here I am still a size 16-18 getting cosier with the 18, sigh, but I have some photo's of the inside of the cave before the going got too tough, which I am yet to down load off my camera due to no time.    Mum & I, after waiving the kids and Cat off at the airport decided to take the trip we made to Perth along the coast again but properly.  Cat wasn't very interested in seeing anything, in fact they saw nothing of Perth except Freemantle on a public holiday Monday afternoon when all but one shop was closed.  No kings park, no Bell Tower, nothing and no desire to see it.  We went to the Royal Perth show and that was not awful, but wow did it suck the money from my pockets, in fact the whole trip did.  I have told Brett he's not to look at the bank account because a divorce would be even more expensive, so he has not gone there.  Though in my defense I didn't spend it all on myself like like Mr spends a thousand dollars per month more than he is supposed to usually on alcohol & ciggies, every month.    Anyway Mum and I had a much better time on the re-run, and we had the luckiest break in Mandura.  For the first time in the history of caravan park stays, the manager not only helped to guide Mum into her allocated spot, BUT helped her to un-hitch the van & in the process discovered that the tow-bar was lose, so he brought it to Mums attention and then rang a tow-bar specialist in town and made an appointment for her the next morning and about an hour after we dropped it off (Ailish and I had our own car and had been following Mum and the van all over as she has a GPS that talks to her, & she had a van and car ful with cat & the kids on the way there.)    Mum gets a call and Tony the Tow-bar man, & he tells her that the tow-bar just fell off in his hand, that she was sooo lucky as it probably wouldn't have stayed attached to the car for another 10 km's.  If that had happened then Ailish and I would have been wearing a van on the loose & you can imagine how pretty that might have turned out.  So how lucky were we?! I can't really believe it.   Anyway we saw some absolutely lovely places and went on a very swayey and there for terrifying tree top walk near Walpole which is a gorgeous place, it's sort of in between Walpole and Denmark.  Denmark is full of yummy and artistic type people, reminded me a bit of home really, when the artsy fartsie's  get out and about, anyway we went to Toffee factory (a shed on a farm) and a honey ice creamery and a cheese factory (mmmmmmm, wild truffle cheese, had some for dinner the other night mmmmm), and well this is explaining why I'm making friends with size 18 isn't it ha ha ha.   Well we got home late arvo on the 15th only to get right into entertaining mode as Mums oldest (as in longest known, not in age LOL) friends were in Esperance also caravanning and about to hit the Nullabour on their way home anyway they came over 2 hours after we walked through the door after a 6 hour drive from Albany, our last over night stop.  That was fine though.  Brett got home the following night, my clothesline broke on the most perfect of washing days and we had a veritable MOUNTAIN of stuff to wash, from clothing to bedding from the van as well as the house as Cat & the kids slept in the house when they were here & as I went with them, naturally everything was just as it was left 3 weeks earlier, then we have a house inspection on the Thursday, SO, not only are we unpacking cars and van and finding places to string up copious amounts of wet washing I have to scrub the house, do the obvious windows, get the food splatters off the vertical blinds from Ailish's mangled attempts at self feeding, etc.  As we had the birthday party for her the Sunday before (We had 26 people 13 kids & 13 adults, I made a Dorothy Cake & we hired a jumping Castle, a friend had caught a big Snapper and we BBQ'd that in foil had party foods and Salads and games & it was enjoyed by all ages and lasted from 10am to the last guests leaving around 3:30pm I think it was.... late arvo anyway... I even got to enjoy myself) (Because she's a Christmas Day baby, we pick a suitable date any time from  June onwards & chose the 23rd of September because her Aunty Cat, Melbourne cousins and gran were here and thats a rarity)  we left, we left on the Tuesday, We had 13 kids & 14 adults all of various ages, (it was a huge success for the entire age group with the last of the guests leaving around 4pm I think it was after a 10m start, after I finished doing the necessary food stuff and running of games I hadn't thought fully through, I too had a great time) there was popped balloons to pick up and streamers and those stupid party poppers streamers (dumb bloody idea they were... DON'T EVER GO THERE!).  So I had my work cut out for me.  Needless to say not a great deal of time for anything else at this point,  Oh Ailish was also ill with swollen and very red top gums at this point, with the occasional temps............. We don't know what it was, but she ate dirt in various parts of the state, so I'm guessing she got something then.  I gave her some left over antibiotics left over from her ear infection in march last Friday and she woke up a new kid, which was a relief, as she'd gone off eating all together and lost a fair bit of weight, (not helped by that flu she only just got over a few days before Mum & Co arrived......... She seems to have become a germ magnet)  always a worry, anyway eating for Australia now, so that's the main thing.    Brett and I took off to Kalgoorlie for a mates engagement party & Brett's a groomsman, so Mum stayed with A.J in Esperance and Brett & I got an expensive motel room in Kal for the night.  Little did we know at the time that it was infact their THIRD engagement party, & this one was being held by a Born Again Church friend of his Fiance (P).  We were the only ones to bring a present (in fact we gave them 4 presents) & they didn't even bother to unwrap them so we could see if they liked them or not, we actually saw P put them in her car around 10pm when the party finished (it started at 6pm...rave on party animals.......... Oh how I could go on) and said, did you like the presents and she said, Oh I might open them tomorrow............................no thanks, no yippee, didn't even bother to fake any enthusiasm.  I hope they don't get married, it wont work out, they are not well suited AT all.   So we of course went out, with Di (and without P his intended), and his little sister whom we also know well and his older half brother Dom who's gay, so I became a fag hag for the night, which was kinda fun, he's born in '71 too and has put on a stack of weight so we felt old and fat together ha ha ha.  We did some kareoke & my Black Velvet" took the roof off, but Dom's and My duet of "You don't bring me flowers"... Completely cleared the pub LOL, oh well, you can't please all the people all the time he he he.  Anyway we got home at 3.30am and there for the beautiful double spa was spared any operating, the king sized bed was used for passing out only, no rumpy or pumpy in the slightest.  The only thing we actually got our value out of the whole $200.00 the night room, was the included buffet cooked breakfast, man was that necessary, we scoffed mounds of bacon and eggs and toast and strong coffee before hitting the road and coming back to Esperance (A 4 hour drive).  Mum left for home around 10.30am on the Monday just gone and Brett left for work on the same Monday about 2pm for nightshift.    I have been doing more washing from our trip to Kal and Mums sheets (she slept in the house this time) etc.  This week A.J. & I have been Op-shopping and to the P.O. she's had a monster 3 hour sleeps in the arvo's (I think she's having a growth spurt) &I've rung my Esperance friends whom I've not seen for a month, (if I don't keep in touch with them I may have no friends here at all LOL... Sigh!).  Wednesday morning was toddler time and Ailish only went to sleep Tuesday night because I told her after her sleep she gets to play with her best friend Shae....... Every dark haired girl up to age 10 (Shae's 4 months older than Ailish) we saw whilst we were away was "Shae".."Shae" so I think she's really missing her, she did the same for Brett & that got embarressing, she'd point to any bloke with dark hair and say "Daddy".... Yikes, did I blush a lot.  Shae and Ailish had a lovely time together & I enjoyed catching up with shae's Mummy and my good friend Dee.   I am sincerely hoping that next week is a lot calmer but as we , as of last week won a camper trailer van on e-bay this may not be the case.  Mums going to collect it for us, it's in Woollongong NSW and take it back to the farm and then she'll either tow it to Ceduna where just Brett will meet her, collect it, and return... OR A.J. & I will once again sleep in the back of our stationwagon (which is what we did following Mum etc around as her 2 berth caravan was sleeping 4 LOL) and then we'll get a  brief holiday but the one I just had and the campervan have drained the old finances just a tad, so that probably wont be the case, mores the pitty............ though Brett's not keen on spending his entire break crossing the Nullabour over and back... so you never know.  After we pick up the van we can see family & friends briefly and then come back via Broken Hill to see bretts ageing grandparents and Adelaide to see his lovely Aunt and that'll take us pretty close to the border and the "Bour "(as in Nulla-boring- bour)....................  Vans over hear are ridiculously expensive so buying over east and picking it up is still cheaper including fuel  especially in the codition and quality of the vans than buying right here..... I think I may have to start a little business and bring a few over per year..... we'll see.    Ailish is stringing 3-4 words together and learning 3-4 new words per day, being quite the little chatter box.  As soon as I get around to charging my camera battry's and up loading the pics to the PC I shall post some pics of Lil Miss Cute as a button LOL.   Well she's nearly finished her breaky & a friend just called to ask if I could do a spot of emergancy babysitting for her so I now have to jump and pop Ailish in the shower with me & hope that my Kal friend who's staying with us doesn't rock up until midday when the first shift gets picked up LOL....... hope they don't trash the place...... sigh, I'd have to hog tie them for that to happen... oh well, thats the price you pay for being a great person LOL. Just wanted to share my life with you all, I have missed the blogging part. L Chele

To everyone who really did consider themselves my friend, I want to thank you for your friendship.  Over the past month or so I have had my articles down voted & I have realised it must be a high ranking person as they apear to have some clout, I wrote in Q&A asking if anyone minded if I posted birthdays there & then Clay asked me not to a few weeks ago so I stopped, however I discovered that my original question in which I asked permission had been deleted, I have written to Clay on 2 occassions asking him to explain this and I have not been answered which equals being ignored.  I know the outline is petty but the under current is I feel dictaroial instead of democratic, bossy irrigardless of the popular opinion and sneaky and an abuse of a position of power .  I will probably be completely deleted after writing this but I am honestly so dissalussioned at this point I couldn't care less.  I asked very nicely on 2 occassion for him to explain it to me & I have been twice ignored & it has been gnawing at me.  I have never been one on Minti to shut up and put up and yet for weeks thats what I have been doing.  I have avoided being on Minti for over a week and although I have had some nice gifs added to my lounge, not one person has truely missed me, has written to ask why I all of the sudden dropped off the face of Minti.  I know everyone has there own lives and perhaps it is simply time I began mine after Minti.  It was a bouy when I need rescue but now I can go it alone and it has developed a rotten hull and is depressingly pulling me down with it.

So Goodbye Minti, thanks for the help and the good times & i hope everyone I have got to know has fantastic futres.

Love Chele

I can fill in the intro line so that it sounds busy, but it was quite the opposite for ME actually.  Brett got busy getting what ever he wanted to take back to work with him (away for 7 days) and fueling up his car, hiring weekly dvd's etc.  Dee (rockdeeva) spent the whole weekend in labour and ended up tracking her down an hour after she came out of surgery exhasted and very sore so I spoke to her main squeeze who sounded, concerned, relieved and happy all at the same time LOL  and they say men can't multi-task.  I started to spray paint the gold bits on the "big girls bed"even though it was still a bit on the breazy side... it's esperance it's very windy most of the time here, so I figured today was as good a time as any.  Problem was that the gold spray paint I bought was very glossy and sparkly but rather transparent and I had to cover up some well worn bits that showed through, so I got my craft gold paint out and painted that on with a brush and then sprayed several coats of the spray can over the top when it dried and the result was quite nice, it crackled very subtley, I'm not sure exactly what did it, they were drying quickly in the sun, maybe it was that.... or the water based paint mixing with the enamal, anyway I really like the effect (luckily LOL).  I finished a great book  (you;'l have to go to Book Marks the group to find out what that was), I tidied up after our bath/shower (she bathed, I showered) wiped out the bathroom did what we had to do, popped her down to sleep at her request only to have her scream the house down with her latest screach of ""Brrrrrr (rolled like a raspberry) eeettttttt" which is hubby/daddy's name and she got it because the idiot never listens to me the first 3 times I nicely call him "Honey".......so now thats what Ailish YELLS at the top of her lungs, sometimes for no reason what so ever.  Anyway she finally fell asleep around 9.45pm... when she went down at 7.45pm..... little devil.  She's not usually like that, though I suspect her eye teeth are hurting her again as she's off her food a bit as well.  I probably should have given her panadol come to think of it ./.... oh well, didn't occur to e at the time.  I went in ther to have a poo sniff (wasn't one) just in case, and she asked for another (already had 2) Brrm-Brrrmms (her ...noise.. for bottles) and I said 'NO"and she smiled up at me & said "YEAH" little cow, first time argueing back I cracked up laughing and then had to get her one didn't I.... can't stick by your guns when you laugh, ruins the whole "fear of god"parenting technique LOL.  Oh well, she's too clever for MY own good I think.

Gosh, look at the time, I've had early nights since Wednesday and now I've ruined it, it was a first for about 5 years I think, I was hoping I was fixed... bugger.  back is sore, I need a new mattress.  and a back bone transplant with discs included... anyone got a spare in good nick???  no?? bugger.  night night.
